2023 16' Saturn Triton Outfitter Series KaBoats Arriving in May!
The new 2023 model with our "Triton" series improvements (optional) are arriving soon. The Triton Series upgrades represent over $400 additional value and include; upgraded imported PVC ($75 value), heat-welded seam technology used by our Saturn Triton manufacturer with over 10 years of high frequency heat-welding expertise ($200 value), Leafield D7 inflation valves ($150 value), and an extended 3-year warranty ($100 value). The boat technical specifications are nearly identical between the Triton model (TRSK487XL) and our standard version. These Triton series improvements incorporate the newest technologies in inflatable boat construction and provide an incredible value for those looking to put their boat to the test. If available, this option will be listed under the "Model" selection.
The new models also include extra-large 16" diameter tubes, 4 exterior tube chambers (vs. 2 in the standard 16' Saturn XL KaBoat), upgrades galore, a raised bow design with 2-3" additional kick for ocean/river conditions, and a very spacious interior. This model is now basically identical to the 15' Saturn Triton Outfitter KaBoat but extended to provide additional interior storage and passenger capacity. The 16' Saturn Triton Outfitter KaBoat is the best overall value in our KaBoat line and comfortably seats up to 4 adults.
We've made new improvements to provide the most versatile combination of performance, safety, and portability for any boat on the inflatable boat market including German Heytex PVC, upgraded Leafield D7 inflation valves, and a triple thick 1.5mm PVC bottom protection layer. These improvements account for hundreds of dollars of additional value and are only available for the 2023 Saturn Outfitter Series KaBoats (with Triton ugrades) on our www.saturnrafts.com and www.saturnboats.com websites!
The Outfitter Series KaBoats are designed to support more gear and provide more space than our other KaBoat models. The also have added exterior tube chambers to provide extra safety for those looking to put their KaBoat to the test. They are the only Saturn KaBoat models currently produced using our upgraded high-frequency heat welded seam construction.
The extra large, 16" diameter oversized tubes and an extra wide interior make the TRSK487XL KaBoat perfect for law enforcement, military operations, and explorer expeditions (we put two of these in the hands of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Exploration to discover new gorilla populations on remote rivers).This model is great for remote island explorations, fun trips on the water with family, or just simple fishing adventures with friends.
This new 16' Saturn Outfitter Series model has 4 separate air chambers for extra safety, compared to 2 standard chambers of regular KaBoats. Extra heavy-duty rub strake protectors are installed along both sides of the tubes for enhanced durability and rigidity.
This KaBoat comes with 2 sets of oarlocks and 2 sets of rowing oars for fast tandem rowing. With a 15HP 2-stroke outboard motor, this KaBoat is insanely fast with speeds above 25 mph! It handles sharp turns great and holds large waves without a problem.

This boat has so much space inside it that it is simply great. I love going to excursions to remoted places with a group of friends and this boat is exactly what we needed. We plan our trip, take our luggage and row for hours. There is much place inside and everyone feels comfortable.
I feel safe enough on this boat to go to unexplored places. It is made of thick plastic and I do not worry that sharp rocks could penetrate it. It is stable on the water and easy to control.
This kaboat is also excellent for family excursions. It is quite spacious and when everyone gets tired of rowing, you can just turn on an electric motor and go back.

This 16 foot kayak easily fits me and my 5 friends. We like to go on long trips, and this kayak has brought us a lot of fun. It was an inexpensive investment that will last for years. The construction of the kayak is sturdy, as it is made with heavy material that will stand up to ware and tear. It is easy to inflate and deflate when finished. I store it in its carrying bag, and typically let it air dry for a day before putting it away. There is no unpleasant odors, and our feet stay completely dry while using this kayak. It is easy to manuvr, and 6 strong guys can really get this kayak moving down the river. The fun that this kayak provides is endless and priceless. I am glad I made this purchase.

The boat performed perfectly and has been stowed on inflated on top of my truck camper over swimming noodles for 600 miles inflated. A great little ship. Very stable. I use an lp 2.5 motor.

Purchased the 16Ft SK487 in July 2012. Have used it for several multi day camping trips in large mountain lakes and the Columbia River in Washington state. With my 8HP four stroke and two people top speed is 22 MPH per my GPS. I have owned several inflatables, for the money this inflatable represents tremendous value. With the floor removed and deflated I can easily by myself transport between storage in the garage and into the back of my Explorer. With this boat I can carry four people without gear, or two people and camping gear for week long trips. I built my own sun top for about $35.00 using PVC pipe and a 5x7’ tarp. Would buy this again, positively great value for the money, I can afford most any boat I desire, but hate paying monthly storage fees and waiting in long launch lines. I purchased this boat to escape the crowds, for this purpose it is perfect, love it!

Thanks so much for your diligence and your teams efforts in shipping my boat out so quickly sir! Got it today and immediately pumped it up to make sure all is well - so far so good! You were right when you said your rafts are derived from high quality, craftsmen! Seams look strong and overall boat looks great! I am anxious to see how sea-worthy she truly is as well as the tracking and handling on the H20. Will advise w/ photo's as promised.

I have to say I love our new 16' Kaboat, we have had it out a few times and it's perfect, folds up and fits in the back of my Mini Cooper, Easy setup takes 10 minutes with a low volume electric air pump, finishing off with the supplied hand pump. For a family boat to take camping for river or lake excursions here in Oregon it's perfect, mind you I have already poked a hole in the air floor (fishing with kids) but it was a quick and easy repair. I was using a 15hp engine but it was overpowered and went to a 50 LB thrust electric, more than enough power to zip you about a river and lasts all day as the boat is so light to push..
